I’ve had my personal blog hosted on a Drupal-powered site for a number of years now. Unfortunately the hosting company was going through some changes, which meant that I had to migrate my site, etc. over to their new service. They gave me more than enough time to transition to their new servers, but I never did.
… I guess in a way, I needed change, but really just wanted to start over. I may “repost” a number of historical posts, but probably the only the ones that are even remotely interesting (trust me … not that many are). Also, I’ll probably “pre date” them to their original date.
Anyway, I’ve now installed WordPress on my MediaTemple-hosted web site. It is actually a very easy “one click” installation.
This post in fact is a bit of a test to see if it is set up alright, since I’m writing this in Windows Live Writer.

I’ve always been a fan of the Wordpress UX etc. Delible Ink is a Squarespace build (great service), but somehow when I was tinkering last night, wanting to stand up a daily photo blog, good ol’ Wordpress called me back: http://artifactquotidien.wordpress.com/
I guess we’ll just have to call that great minds…
WordPress is great! Don’t forget to check out the WordPress iPhone app while you’re at it.
I know … I do have it, but haven’t used it much yet. Have you?
WordPress! Fantastic on so many levels. You’re going to love it.
